Born from the rich heritage of Fender's iconic Strat, this model pays its respect to seven decades of timeless tone and style, while still managing to boast modern performance features.
The body of the 70th Anniversary American Vintage II 1954 Stratocaster is cut from two pieces of ash, featuring a classic Strat shape with two deep cutaways, and a belly contour for comfort, featuring a stark white pickguard. Its 1-piece maple neck, finished in gloss nitro lacquer, is attached with a custom neck plate that features a 70th Anniversary logo. Paired with a maple fingerboard, the neck offers a nostalgic feel, with a comfy, vintage-inspired 7.25" fingerboard radius. On the fingerboard, Fender's classic black dot inlays act as markers for precise playing.
At the sonic heart of the 70th Anniversary American Vintage II 1954 Stratocaster lie the 70th Anniversary 1954 Single-Coil Strat pickups, that capture the essence of vintage Stratocaster tone, delivering sparkling highs and articulate lows. The instrument features a 3-Position Blade switch, with a Master Volume and two Tone knobs.
This '54 Strat also comes equipped with a vintage-accurate synchronized trem, with the bridge mounting utilizing a 6-Screw Vintage-Style configuration. The tremolo arm features a Vintage-Style Butt Adjust design for intuitive operation, and the hardware, includes single-line "Fender Deluxe" tuners and a bone nut.
