This main unit offers up to 4K on four channels at 12/15 fps per channel. With several sensor units to choose from you can combine up to four different sensor units simultaneously, depending on your needs. The main unit also ensures lower total cost of ownership compared to conventional camera solutions. For instance it requires only one video management software (VMS) license instead of four. What´s more Zipstream with H.264/ H.265 significantly reduces bandwidth and storage requirements. And, with storage profile enabled, you´ll enjoy the optimal level of Zipstream for your video storage - regardless of your VMS.

Featuring a deep learning processing unit (DLPU), this AI-powered main unit lets you run advanced features and powerful analytics at the edge. For instance, it comes with AXIS Object Analytics preinstalled to detect, classify, track, and count humans and types of vehicles. This DLPU also delivers valuable metadata facilitating efficient forensic search capabilities in live or recorded video. With AXIS Sensor Metrics Dashboard preinstalled, you can gather information from connected devices including the integrated accelerometer sensor, as well as external Modbus sensors and GPS devices. Furthermore, this main unit includes a built-in USB port that’s prepared for future applications.

With a rugged design, this four-channel main unit can withstand shock and vibrations, making it ideal for high-vibration environments. FAKRA connectors provide a tight connection with the cable ensuring ruggedized installation. It includes Axis Edge Vault, a hardware-based cybersecurity platform that safeguards the device and protects sensitive information from unauthorized access. And it offers FIPS 140-2 Level 2 certified, secure cryptographic key storage and operations.
