One quart bag ( +/- 2lbs) - A one quart bag is typically enough to set up a single enclosure or to amend an established one.
One gallon bag ( +/- 5lbs) - A single one gallon bag is typically enough substrate to set up 3 to 4 smaller 6 quart bins or 1 to 2 larger 12-15 quart.
