About the Artist: Cal Breed is a glass artist and sculptor from Florence, Alabama, and co-owner of Orbix Hot Glass in Fort Payne. He has studied and worked with leading figures in contemporary glass and has taught at institutions including Pilchuck Glass School. His work is held in public and private collections, including the Huntsville Museum of Art, the Wiregrass Museum of Art, and the Montgomery Museum of Art, and has received multiple awards and grants, including an Alabama State Council on the Arts Individual Artist Grant.
