The Boeing 727 trijet, designed for smaller airports and shorter runways than the 707 jetliner, had a distinctive T-tail with three rear-mounted engines. Boeing built more than 1,830 of the jets in several configurations. This artifact is a pressure altimeter from a 727 instrument panel. The altimeter indicates the airplane's altitude. A pressure altimeter uses barometric pressure to gauge altitude; barometric pressure is lower at high altitudes. This piece has been refinished by hand and set in a bracket and base made from hand-polished aircraft-grade aluminum. A Boeing Custom Hangar plaque is attached to bottom of the base. Certificate of Authenticity included. Each piece is unique and may vary slightly from photograph. Measures approximately 8"L x 7"W x 8"H. Suggestion for narrow feet

These are very comfortable and look great in person. My only suggestion about the width if you have narrow feet. I measure at a double A narrow. I added some gel insoles which prevented me from sliding forward and actually kept my feet in place.
