The patterns on the items depict the Exodus from Egypt, Jerusalem city views, the Seven Species, oriental designs and additional unique Jewish motifs. Yair Emanuel¿s unique matzah and afikoman covers are made out of raw silk appliques combined with embroidery, in vivid and harmonious colors. The respective inscriptions ¿Passover¿ and ¿Afikoman¿ are at the center of each of the covers, which come as a matching set. All matzah covers have three pockets, for the three matzahs. The patterns depict Jerusalem city views, the Seven Species, birds, flowers and Jewish motifs such as pomegranates and fish. This beautiful artwork will add a touch of color and distinction to your Seder table. Yair uses chain-stitched hand embroidery on raw cotton, using various colors of silk, as well as gold and silver threads to create a beautiful design. The matzah cover has three sections inside to separate the top and bottom matzahs from the middle matzah and is embroidered with the word ¿Pesach¿ in Hebrew in the middle. The afikoman covers are smaller to fit the afikoman and say ¿Afikoman¿ in Hebrew in the middle. The covers are decorated with a beautiful illustration in silver of the gorgeous vistas of the holy city of Jerusalem, over an off white background.
