TN450 Toner vs DR420 Drum Unit

How to Install Brother TN450 Toner Cartridges
- Turn on your Brother laser printer and open the front cover.
- Pull out the drum unit and toner cartridge assembly.
- Press the release lever and remove the old toner cartridge from the drum unit.
- Take the new compatible Brother TN450 cartridge out of the packaging.
- Gently rock the cartridge side to side 5–6 times to distribute toner evenly.
- Remove all protective covers, seals, and pull tabs before installation.
- Insert the new toner cartridge into the drum unit until it clicks into place.
- Gently slide the green tab on the drum unit from side to side several times to clean the corona wire, then return it to the home position.
- Reinstall the drum and toner assembly into the printer.
- Close the front cover and print a test page.
