Deze meerstammige Magnolia grandiflora  Goliath heeft fraaie grote bladeren en schitterende bloemen. De prachtige bloemen in het voorjaar zijn creme-wit van kleur. De bladeren van deze Magnolia zijn groen van kleur. Het leerachtige, glanzende blad heeft wel iets weg van de bladeren van de Camelia. De bladeren kunnen soms iets bruin worden. De bloemen zijn wit van kleur. Ook uitgebloeid erg decoratief. De bloeimaand van deze multistam Grandiflora Goliath boom is eind zomer, juli, augustus en september. De volwassen hoogte van de Magnolia is ongeveer 6 tot 7 meter. Deze meerstammige, wintergroene Magnolia staat prachtig in borders vanaf 2,5 bij 2,5 meter groot.

Standplaats en aanplanting Magnolia grandiflora Goliath multistam

Deze compacte, groenblijvende boom staat graag op een plek in de volle zon of halfschaduw. De grond dient zuur te zijn, gebruik daarom bij het aanplanten altijd aanplantgrond voor zuurminnende tuinplanten. De grond dient vochtig te zijn. Geef tijdens warme zomerdagen ongeveer 5 liter water per week om de grond vochtig te houden. Voor droge zandgronden kiest u bij voorkeur een grotere potmaat, zodat de plant beter in staat is om de eerste tijd water te vinden.
