The air intake (front fairing center piece) in carbonfiber for the BMW S 1000 XR starting from MY2020 is a direct replacement for the original component.

This front fender contributes mainly to weight saving on the motorcycle (up to 70% less) and a higher stiffness of the parts.

Like all of our carbon fiber parts, it was made according to the latest protocols and industry standards and can be considered to encompass all aspects of current 'best of industry' practice.

The part is made completely out of pre-preg carbon fiber materials using an autoclave.

As with all our carbon parts, we use a clear plastic coating that not only improves the appearance, but also protects the carbon fiber from scratching and has a unique UV resistance.

We can get along, even in this age in time. The closed cell foam is cheap. You’ll get it to replace the nasty cloth under your carpet. Do the knock test. It won’t help. You need this too. And truth be told, I prefer that it has no name on it. I’m not paying money so you can brand yourself on my car. Ps: these products go on and don’t come off. Don’t mess up. It’s the same for the competitors and the closed cell foam. One shot. Do it right the first time. I’m writing this review after I used up my first box and am getting more. Happy returning customer.
