Deze Solid Gear S3L werkschoenen zijn gemaakt van nubuck leer met nubuck finish in combinatie met CORDURA nylon en polyester en gericht op vakmensen die een lichte, sportieve werkschoen zoeken die tegen intensief gebruik kan. Het bovenwerk is slijtvast en ademend, waardoor je voeten minder snel warm worden tijdens lange werkdagen. De gerecyclede polyester voering voert transpiratievocht actief af waardoor je voeten langer fris blijven. Dankzij de brede pasvorm is er extra ruimte bij de voorvoet, wat prettig is bij veel lopen of langdurig staan.

De binnenzool van PU foam heeft een open celstructuur, voelt luchtig aan en helpt warmte en vocht sneller af te voeren. De lichtgewicht EVA middenzool zorgt voor demping zonder de schoen log te maken. De geïntegreerde versteviging ondersteunt de voet en houdt de schoen stabiel bij draaien, lopen en werken op ongelijke ondergrond.

De rubberen buitenzool is gemaakt voor grip op gladde werkvloeren en is olie-, slip- en hittebestendig. De SR normering betekent dat de zool antislip is op natte en gladde ondergronden. HRO geeft aan dat de zool bestand is tegen contactwarmte tot 300 graden en FO staat voor bestendigheid tegen olie en brandstoffen. De S3L normering houdt in dat de schoen waterafstotend is en voorzien van een glasvezel veiligheidsneus en een metaalvrije antiperforatiezool die beschermt tegen spijkers, scherven en ander scherp materiaal. Dankzij ESD wordt statische elektriciteit gecontroleerd afgevoerd, wat belangrijk is bij technisch werk en in omgevingen met gevoelige apparatuur.

This funnel stays put and looks great. is it required? No. Does it work great? Yes! The Good: What Works Well Rock-solid attachment: The magnets are impressively strong. It snaps onto the portafilter and doesn't budge. WDT’s Best Friend: It provides the necessary height to use a WDT tool without making a mess. Low Profile: Unlike some "tall" funnels, this one is compact enough to fit under many grinder dispensers while still attached to the portafilter. Premium Finish: The matte black anodized aluminum feels incredibly durable and matches high-end espresso gear perfectly. The Not-So-Good: Price Point: It is definitely a premium option. You can find plastic versions for less, but they won't have the same weight or magnetic security. Pro Tips: Maintenance: This is anodized metal; do not put it in the dishwasher. Just wipe it with a dry cloth or a dedicated coffee brush. Magnet Care: Keep the bottom magnets clean. If coffee oils or grounds build up on the magnets, the "snap" won't feel as secure. Compatibility: Make sure you pick the right size!

I've been stubborn about buying a funnel - yet another coffee tool to simplify and optimize, right? But, it really does reduce the mess when using the WDT tool. The magnets are quite good, a different brand funnel (with magnets) wouldn't even stick to my portafilter. The fit is OK - it does slide around on my 58mm basket if I move the funnel. But, that hasn't been an issue because the magnets keep it in place. The shape is also a bit more tasteful than most of the generic funnels. Oh, and beware - if you're grinding directly into your portafilter basket (hands-free), the funnel may not fit into your grinder's portafilter-holder. This was the case with my DF54 grinder. Overall, I'd say it was worth the extra ~$4 USD over generic competitors.

My only small complaint is I wish it was just slightly taller on this 58mm version. This current model still makes it much better than with no funnel and does the job quite well.
