Dat levert haar een hoop weerstand op, en ondanks haar goede wil brengt haar onhandigheid Nat uiteindelijk juist dieper in de problemen.

Een liefde is een roman vol stiltes, misverstanden en vooroordelen. Sara Mesa portretteert zonder te oordelen een jonge vrouw die soms het verkeerde doet, terwijl ze alleen maar onafhankelijk wil zijn. Ze weet alleen niet precies hoe.
