Dark Labs Crack Gold is a pre-workout that's all about stimulants, with everything listed out clear. It's made to get you amped for training, then back it up with some pump and focus so it doesn't feel lopsided. This isn't your everyday option—it's high-stim for folks who want that drive, mood lift, and laser focus, plus enough blood flow support to feel the muscles working.

It starts with 5,000mg citrulline malate in a 2:1 ratio. That means about two-thirds is actual L-citrulline, so you're getting around 3.3g of it—enough for a decent pump, but not the full 6g pure dose you see in a lot of studies. You'll notice better blood flow, just not maxed out. Then 1,000mg agmatine sulfate helps keep that pump going by boosting nitric oxide, which is key here since the stims can tighten things up.

Beta-alanine is at 2,000mg. Studies often go for 3.2-6.4g a day to build up carnosine in muscles, so this is a bit low if it's your only source. You might feel the tingles right away, but the real perk is helping muscles fight fatigue over time. At 2g, it's helpful but builds slower than a higher dose.

For the brain side, 500mg Alpha GPC 50% gives you about 250mg active stuff, which is solid for better focus and mind-muscle link. N-acetyl L-tyrosine at 500mg helps with stress and keeping your head in the game as

Dark Labs Crack Gold by Dark Labs contains 5000mg Citrulline Malate (2:1), a effective dose for training performance and pump.

Key Highlights

  • 5,000mg Citrulline Malate (2:1) adds a real pump to this stim-heavy mix. You get better blood flow and fuller muscles, even if the actual citrulline is under the 6g pure dose from studies.
  • 1,000mg Agmatine Sulfate boosts the pump by helping nitric oxide and keeping veins open. In a formula loaded with stims, this counters that tight, restricted feel you sometimes get.
  • 300mg Caffeine Anhydrous hits quick for alertness and less fatigue. It's the go-to caffeine for that instant drive in pre-workouts.
  • 200mg Caffeine Citrate ramps up energy even faster. With two caffeine types, this feels stronger than just one source at the same total.
  • 200mg 2-Aminoisoheptane (DMHA) takes it to advanced levels. Not a ton of studies, but it's known in hardcore pre's for big energy, aggression, and lasting stim effects.
  • 300mg Eria Jarensis Extract lifts your mood and drive, giving that euphoric push. It teams up with caffeine and DMHA for more urgency in your workout.
  • 500mg Alpha GPC (50%) delivers about 250mg active for better focus and connection to your lifts. It makes the energy feel directed, not all over the place.
  • 500mg N-Acetyl L-Tyrosine helps make brain chemicals during tough sessions. It's great in high-stim formulas to keep focus productive, not jittery.

Dark Labs Crack Gold by Dark Labs contains 5000mg Citrulline Malate (2:1), a effective dose for training performance and pump.

Who Is This For?

  • Pro bodybuilders in high-volume phases needing more than basic caffeine. 5g citrulline malate, 1g agmatine, Alpha GPC, and heavy stims make sessions feel full, sharp, and urgent.
  • Stim vets who've maxed out on 200-300mg caffeine pre's. Dual caffeine, 200mg DMHA, 300mg Eria Jarensis, and extras deliver that next-level CNS kick.
  • Guys training when motivation is low—like early mornings or deficits—who need quick momentum. Stims cut fatigue and make attacking the workout easier.
  • Strength folks wanting focus deep into sessions. Alpha GPC and N-acetyl L-tyrosine keep you locked in through later sets.
  • People who hate prop blends in hardcore pre's. Full disclosure lets you see every dose and decide.
  • Fans of layered stims over basic energy. Caffeine blocks, Alpha GPC brain support, tyrosine for stress, plus DMHA, hordenine, and rauwolfia for intensity.

How to Use

Mix 1 scoop in 8-12 oz cold water, drink 20-30 minutes pre-training. With dual caffeine, 200mg DMHA, 300mg Eria Jarensis, and rauwolfia, new users start at half scoop for tolerance. Use a shaker for even mix, add water if you want milder taste. Empty stomach speeds it up, full meal slows it. Don't mix with coffee, energy drinks, thermogenics, yohimbine, or other pre's that day unless you know your limits. Add creatine since it's not here, and beta-alanine is under full dose. Save for big sessions or cycle off to avoid tolerance. Store sealed, cool, and dry to prevent clumping.

What to Expect

Minutes 0-10: After drinking, it's mostly just the taste settling, maybe early warmth if you're sensitive. Minutes 10-20: Caffeine kicks in, tingles might start on face or hands from beta-alanine. Minutes 20-40: Energy surges, focus tightens, DMHA and Eria Jarensis bring that aggressive vibe. Minutes 40-90: Stims stay strong, citrulline and agmatine keep muscles pumped for hard sets. Days 1-7: Stims hit right away, beta-alanine just starting to build. Weeks 2-4: Beta-alanine helps more with endurance, but this is mostly for instant workout boosts.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much caffeine is actually in Dark Labs Crack Gold?

The label lists 300mg caffeine anhydrous plus 200mg caffeine citrate. Because caffeine citrate is not 100% caffeine by weight, the real total caffeine yield is lower than 500mg, but the formula still lands firmly in the extreme stimulant category—especially once you factor in 200mg DMHA, 300mg Eria Jarensis, and rauwolfia extract.

Is Crack Gold stronger than a standard high-stim pre-workout?

Yes. Most mainstream high-stim pre-workouts stop at 300-400mg caffeine with maybe one additional energy ingredient. Crack Gold layers dual-source caffeine with DMHA, Eria Jarensis, hordenine, geranium extract, naringin, black pepper, and rauwolfia, creating a much more aggressive and longer-feeling experience.

Should I start with a full scoop?

No, not unless you already know you tolerate very strong pre-workouts well. Start with half a scoop to assess how you respond to the dual caffeine system, DMHA, Eria Jarensis, and rauwolfia before ever considering a full serving.

Does Crack Gold have a real pump formula or is it all stimulants?

It does have real pump support, but it is still stim-first. The 5,000mg citrulline malate and 1,000mg agmatine sulfate help with blood flow and muscle fullness, though the actual citrulline yield is below what you’d get from a full 6g pure L-citrulline clinical dose.

Why does Crack Gold feel different from caffeine-only pre-workouts?

Because it is not relying on caffeine alone. DMHA and Eria Jarensis are included for a stronger central stimulation and mood-drive effect, while hordenine, naringin, and black pepper help shape how long and how intensely the formula is felt.

Will this make me tingle?

Probably. Crack Gold contains 2,000mg beta-alanine, and that commonly causes the tingling sensation known as paresthesia, especially in the face, ears, hands, and arms. It is harmless for most users and does not indicate the product is stronger or weaker than expected.

Can I stack Crack Gold with coffee or an energy drink?

That is not advisable for most users. The formula is already extremely stimulant-heavy, and adding more caffeine or other stimulants can push heart rate, blood pressure, anxiety, and crash risk higher than necessary.

Is the beta-alanine dose clinical?

Not by itself. The most established research target for beta-alanine is 3.2g+ daily, while Crack Gold provides 2g per serving. That means it contributes to long-term carnosine loading, but it is not a fully clinical standalone dose.

Is Crack Gold good for daily use?

For most people, this is better reserved for hard training days rather than everyday use. The stimulant load is high enough that regular daily use can build tolerance quickly and reduce the impact that makes the formula appealing in the first place.

What should I stack with Crack Gold to complete the formula?

A standalone creatine monohydrate is the most logical addition because Crack Gold does not include creatine. If pump is your priority, an additional pure L-citrulline product can also make sense since the 5g citrulline malate yields less actual citrulline than a full clinical 6g L-citrulline dose.

Arthurian Fae Quest…say less.
Format: Kindle
A fae centered Arthurian tale unlike any I’ve read so far. The author did a great job at descriptive world building, with scenes easily playing out in my minds eye. There was plenty of action, suspense, and even a touch of horror. An enemies to lovers, slow burn romance, a quest, with plot twist and turns aplenty. There was a love triangle, which I’m not usually a fan of but, it played out well in this story line. The FMC, Morgan Pendragon, was so blatantly naïve, yet I typically expect as much in a ‘book one’ of a series, especially one that features a fairly sheltered princess. I was happy to read that in spite of this, she still showed a strong sense of morals, fire, and spine. Now our MMC? Kairos Draven, aka Void’s Edge. Oh, how I’m a sucker for a smoking’ hot grumpy warrior alpha with a witty mouth, and a strong sense of “touch her and die” attitude, so you know who held all my cards. That ending? Just made me swoon all the harder. Now add a battlecat that rivals the size of a horse…and well Ms. Briar Boleyn you have well and truly stolen my heart. I’m excited to see where the story goes from here, and follow along to see more of the characters growth. I went into this story fairly blind, and I think I enjoyed it all the more because of it. Once the story got going, it had me in an absolute chokehold and it was difficult to put down.

Not a bad start
Format: Kindle
3 stars Thank you Netgalley and Briar Boleyn for the ARC! A camelot/king Arthur retelling with fae. I was hooked by the idea of this book immediately and was eager to jump into this world. • slow burn • enemies to lovers • who did this to you Morgan Pendragon watched her mother die by her father's hand when she was just eight years old, hiding under the bed. Morgan is believed to have the tainted blood of the fae in her veins and is cast aside so that her fathers illegitimate son, Arthur, can become the king. She's seen his cruel treatment of the fae firsthand, so when he sends her on a journey to find a fae weapon she seizes the opportunity to do more with her life. Along the way, she finds more than she could have imagined. I don't know a whole lot about King Arthur and Camelot but I had a lot of fun with this story! The plot has some similar tropes to popular romantasy books (From blood and ash) but there's enough originality here that it doesn't feel like I'm reading a copy. I liked how the fae were different in appearance than what is typical in most fantasy books I've read. In this book they have blue hair, violet skin and a wide range of other characteristics. I thought that the world building was easy to follow and I could easily immerse myself into this world. After reading the blurb I kept wondering when she was going to go on the journey to find Excalibur and it doesn't happen until around the 45% mark. The story is a bit slow at times but starts to pick up once they begin their journey to find Excalibur. The John Wick style Inn was a fun concept that I enjoyed reading about. There are a lot of similarities to this and FBAA and I would have liked to have it be a little more different, but I'm hoping book two will have the story turn into something of its own. Overall I enjoyed reading this story and I'm looking forward to reading book two especially after that ending.

Right from the start, I was drawn in by the prologue!!!
Format: Paperback, Format: Paperback
Queen of Roses (Blood of a Fae #1) by Briar Boleyn Genre General Fiction ( Adult), Romance, Sci-Fi & Fantasy, Dark Romance “More primordial than the stars. My name was on his lips as he promised unspeakable darkness to any who came between us.” Right from the start, I was drawn in by the prologue!!! I’m a big fan of “touch her, and you die” vibes, but I mean, what’s also not to love about a unique Arthurian retelling with gender twists, a treacherous royal court, a dangerous quest, magical Fae & mystical monsters, entwined with a bit of spice! Morgan, Princess of Pendrath and true heir to the throne has spent most of her life dimming her light to feel safe and to make others comfortable. She is treated as an outcast in the court and repressed by her family due to the blood of the Fae within her and forced to join the Temple of the Three as a priestess in training to one day replace Merlin. Her brother, King Arthur, who reminds me of Joffrey from Game of Thrones, later tells her that he has other plans and offers her a choice of the Temple or to marry her off for political gain, unless… that is, she can journey through the great unknown and return with a long-lost fae weapon with enchanted powers known as Excalibur. Her quest begins with a roguish crew that includes the mysterious, arrogant, and heart-tuggingly handsome Captain of the Royal Guard, Kairos Draven, whom she can’t decide if she wants to stab or indulge in pleasure with. Along the way are plenty of surprises, mystical creatures, and betrayal, all while Morgan uncovers more of the truth about herself and who she can trust. This book had intriguing storylines and lovable characters that kept me turning pages and wanting more. I can’t wait to see how it all unfolds and comes together in book 2, Court of Claws, which I just started reading!! Read if you’re into- Dark Fantasy/Romance Slow–Burn Question Everything Magic and Action Fae Arthurian Legend Stabby/Broken FFC Morally Gray MMC Forced Proximity Queen of Roses is perfect for Holly Black, Jennifer L. Armentrout, and Sarah J. Maas fans. Please check the trigger warnings page in the table of contents before reading this book.

3.5 stars, A little boring to say the least.
Format: Kindle
Wow so I'm not sure where to begin on this one. This was a very different take on the legend of Arthur and Excalibur. This is told from the point of view of Morgan the sister of Arthur. Honestly the first 50% of this book is world building and character building which unfortunately was super boring for me. Morgan to me was a female MC that had a hard time in believing in herself. Sometimes taking too long to understand exactly what was going on around her. Draven was also a different male MC, like I couldn't put my finger on him and what he was all about. It was not until the last 10% of the book did we get some answers on the mystery that is Draven. The other 50% of the book centered around this big journey with everyone having a different motive. We see a spark of magic around this time that had me excited but then we never expanded upon that and what it could mean for the female MC. I feel like I want to read the second book just to see where this goes, but the spice was probably a 2 out of 5. Side characters are ok, Lancelet was fun but I almost felt like I wanted more.
