If you're running one of Edge's CS, CTS, CS2, CTS2, CTS3, TrailDash or Dashpaq Monitors you have the ability to monitor a plethora of different engine and powertrain vitals. However, you could be missing out on one of the most important thing to watch, your exhaust gas temperate (EGT).

This probe is designed to work in conjunction with Edge's exclusive EAS (Expandable Accessory System) to allow you to daisy chain multiple sensors. Otherwise, this sensor works perfectly as a stand alone with your existing monitor. Built with a 15" lead, if the need ever arises, you can easily replace only the probe without replacing the entire harness down the road.

The EGT temperature probe must be installed in the exhaust manifold for the most accurate temperature readings. The closer to the combustion chamber, the better. Most trucks will require drilling and tapping of the exhaust manifold to 1/8-NPT (bit and tap not included). This kit includes exhaust manifold fitting, probe, wiring, and an expandable EAS starter cable. So adding more accessories down the road is plug-n-play.
