Wet Areas Seed Mix - Wildflowers Only

The cost of the seed mix reflects the lack of grasses, but its application rate is much lower than our grasses:wildflowers meadow seed mix for wet areas.

This is ideal for adding to existing grasses after suitable preparation - see our blog for details - in which case you will also need to add Yellow Rattle, Rhinanthus minor to it. This seed has very limited viability and must be sown from harvest in summer to the end of December of the same year. It can't be sown in Spring as it needs a prolonged period of cold to trigger germination. For this reason we don't include it in a mix like this which may be sown in the Spring sowing window.
