ALCO-LITE® truss construction ladders have been a tradition in the industry since their inception by our founder. Built with the same work ethic and craftsmanship as those of the 1930s, you can depend upon their truly traditional quality.

Truss ladders offer the same strength and durability as their pumper ladder counterparts, with additional rigidity for added comfort at height. Staypoles or "tormentors" can be added to any length ladder. The truss design provides maximum rigidity.

AN IMPORTANT MESSAGE TO OUR CUSTOMERS

Due to the size of these ladders, they are susceptible to damage during transit.

Please be sure to inform anyone who may be accepting this shipment that they should carefully inspect the ladders for damage before accepting the shipment or signing the trucker’s bill of lading.

  • Do not allow the trucker to deliver the shipment without first inspecting the ladders.

  • If you find any damage, you are instructed to note damages on the bill of lading and refuse the shipment.

  • If the trucker does not allow you reasonable time to inspect the ladders, you are instructed to refuse the delivery and note the reason on the bill of lading.

  • Unfortunately, we cannot be responsible for any hidden damages. Once you sign the bill of lading and accept the ladders the manufacturer nor we can file any damage claims.

The manufacturer will file all refused damage claims. Replacement of damaged ladders will be handled in the following manner.

  • Stock ladders- Replacement ladders will be shipped as soon as they are available.

  • Special and all non-standard ladders will be repaired and re-shipped as soon as possible.

Our contract with Alco-Lite only permits us to sell these ladders to fire departments. We cannot ship these ladders to industrial, commercial, or private accounts.

That is if you first remove the little blade guards that come with each wiper, just like the ice skaters use for their Olympic level blades. And having all three blades (two front and one back) ordered specifically to fit the car, I didn't have to guess and take multiple trips to AutoZone or Advance or O'Riellys. Sometimes the reviewer bot likes to know about some specifics as well. So . . . these fight a great battle to resist rain. And with a lever inside the car, these wipers are easy to use once installed. They are really fast when they slide out of the box. Having had some cars where the wipers fell off, I can attest to the safety that any wiper gives the driver, regardless of it's durability or speed. So I look forward to the safety these wipers will afford over having metal arms scratching across the windshield like fingernails on a chalk board.
