Quick and lasting caffeine paired with smart thermogenic and focus boosters

UNBOUND Unlock Powder is a high-stim thermogenic that's smarter than your average fat burner. It skips the basic caffeine-plus-herbs setup and mixes fast and slow-release stims, metabolism boosters, heat raisers, and brain-support ingredients for a better cut. The aim is to amp up your training drive, keep energy going longer, crank up the heat, and make sessions feel strong even on low calories.

The star here is 2,000mg acetyl L-carnitine (ALCAR). That's a big dose for this kind of product. ALCAR is carnitine with an acetyl group attached, which helps shuttle fatty acids for energy and boosts brain function better than regular carnitine. You'll feel cleaner energy, better focus, and less scatterbrain from caffeine alone.

Energy comes from 200mg caffeine anhydrous for the quick hit and 100mg delayed-release caffeine from züm XR® for the full serving. That's 300mg total caffeine, but the split makes it smoother—no huge spike and crash like single-shot caffeine burners. The fast caffeine ramps up alertness and workout intensity right away. The delayed part keeps it steady.

L-Tyrosine at 500mg helps make dopamine and norepinephrine, which are key for focus and drive. Studies often use bigger doses for standalone effects, so this is more of a helper amount. Still, it teams up great with caffeine.

Key Highlights

  • 2,000mg Acetyl L-Carnitine — this is a hefty dose in a thermogenic powder, not just for show. ALCAR helps move fatty acids for energy and supports brain power, so this stuff feels sharper and smoother than plain stim burners.
  • 300mg total caffeine per full serving — 200mg caffeine anhydrous for fast energy plus 100mg delayed-release from züm XR®. You get a quick start for intense workouts and energy that hangs around longer than one-and-done caffeine products.
  • 500mg L-Tyrosine — added to help with dopamine and norepinephrine production next to caffeine. It's not the huge doses from some brain studies, but it's a solid support level to make your focus feel on point.
  • 300mg RhodioPrime® — this is a branded Rhodiola crenulata extract with 6% salidroside. It's an adaptogen that fights fatigue and keeps your mind steady, so you're not just relying on stims.
  • 500mg MitoBurn® L-BAIBA — a newer ingredient for body comp. It's here for its links to exercise signals, fat burning, and brown fat research, giving this powder a modern edge on metabolism.
  • 250mg InnoSlim® — a branded mix of Astragalus membranaceus and Panax notoginseng for metabolism help. It brings in nutrient partitioning and glucose support that basic burners skip.
  • 50mg Paradoxine® Grains of Paradise — a patented extract that boosts energy burn. This is a key fat-burning piece and a sign of quality over cheap spice knockoffs.
  • 50mg GBB — thrown in to amp up the heat and sweat. If you like feeling your burner work, this plus caffeine, niacin, and grains of paradise will make it noticeable.

Who Is This For?

  • Physique folks cutting calories but wanting aggressive, productive training. 300mg total caffeine, 2g ALCAR, and 500mg tyrosine keep energy and drive up when food's low.
  • Seasoned dieters past basic stim burners. MitoBurn®, Paradoxine®, fucoxanthin, and InnoSlim® bring wider fat-loss support than caffeine-plus-green-tea basics.
  • Hybrid trainers mixing lifts with walking, circuits, or HIIT. Unlock gives initial push and sustained energy via züm XR® for longer sessions.
  • Early risers needing quick mental on-switch. Caffeine anhydrous delivers fast, ALCAR and tyrosine make it focused, not just wired.
  • Lifters who get foggy on cuts and want sharp focus over just sweat. ALCAR, tyrosine, RhodioPrime®, and caffeine combo preserves drive as much as heat.
  • People who dig a thermogenic you feel working. Niacin, GBB, caffeine, and grains of paradise bring real warmth and sweat for serious cutters.

How to Use

Begin with 1 scoop in 8-12 oz cold water to test tolerance, especially if stims, niacin flush, or GBB heat hits you hard. Pros can go full 2 scoops in 12-16 oz once it's familiar. Down it 20-30 minutes pre-workout so anhydrous caffeine ramps as you start, and züm XR® carries through. Empty stomach makes it hit faster and thermogenesis pop; light food softens if needed. Skip other high-caffeine stuff—full serving's already 300mg. Goes great with creatine, electrolytes, and post protein, but no need for another stim product. No required cycle, but 6-8 weeks on then a short caffeine break refreshes sensitivity. Keep it sealed, cool, dry—flavored powders clump in humidity. Evening workouts? Half serve or go stim-free since delayed caffeine lingers.

What to Expect

Minutes 0-10: you mix and drink it—serving's small so it sits easy, and you might feel alertness creeping in with niacin warmth. Minutes 10-20: caffeine anhydrous kicks, and if you're tuned to thermogenics, heat, sweat, or GBB warmth shows up. Minutes 20-40: peak time for focus, drive, and intensity, with ALCAR and tyrosine locking it in. Minutes 40-90: züm XR® prevents quick drop, so longer sessions or cardio hold steady better than plain caffeine. Days 1-7: check your tolerance, heat, sweat, and if 1 or 2 scoops fits. Weeks 2-4: consistency shines in cuts—reliable workouts, cardio commitment, and less drag from low calories.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much caffeine is in UNBOUND Unlock Powder?

At the full 2-scoop serving, Unlock provides 300mg total caffeine: 200mg caffeine anhydrous plus 100mg delayed-release caffeine from züm XR®. At 1 scoop, you get half that amount, which is a smarter starting point for most users.

What makes the caffeine profile in Unlock different from a normal fat burner?

Most thermogenics rely on a single shot of caffeine that rises quickly and fades quickly. Unlock combines immediate caffeine anhydrous with züm XR® delayed-release caffeine, so the formula hits fast but carries energy longer into lifting, cardio, or a long training session.

Is UNBOUND Unlock Powder just a stimulant product?

No. The stimulant base is important, but Unlock also includes 2g acetyl L-carnitine for brain-energy support, 500mg MitoBurn®, 250mg InnoSlim®, 50mg Paradoxine®, 8mg fucoxanthin from Laminaria japonica extract, and RhodioPrime® for adaptogenic support.

Should I start with 1 scoop or 2 scoops?

Start with 1 scoop unless you already know you handle high-stim thermogenics well. Even a half serving provides a meaningful amount of caffeine and thermogenic support, and ingredients like GBB and niacin can feel intense in sensitive users.

What does GBB do in this formula?

GBB is included at 50mg per full serving to intensify the thermogenic feel of the product. Many users notice more heat and sweating when GBB is present, especially when it is stacked with caffeine, niacin, and grains of paradise as it is here.

Will Unlock make me feel hot or sweaty?

Very possibly, especially at the full serving. Niacin, GBB, Paradoxine®, caffeine, and Cocoabuterol® are all part of the reason Unlock tends to produce a more noticeable warming and sweat response than lighter fat burners.

Can I take Unlock for fasted cardio?

Yes, that is one of the most logical use cases for this formula. The rapid caffeine onset can increase alertness and drive, while the thermogenic ingredients help make low-intensity fat-loss work feel more purposeful and energized.

Can I stack Unlock with a pre-workout?

Usually not with another stimulant-heavy pre-workout. Because Unlock already provides 300mg total caffeine plus multiple thermogenic compounds, it is better stacked with non-stim supports like creatine, electrolytes, or pump agents rather than more stimulants.

Why is acetyl L-carnitine included at 2,000mg?

That is a serious dose for a thermogenic and one of the formula's strongest differentiators. ALCAR contributes to fatty acid transport and is often valued for cleaner mental energy and focus, which helps this product feel more useful than a simple caffeine burner.

Is this product good for beginners?

Not as a first supplement. Beginners who are determined to try it should start with 1 scoop and avoid other caffeine sources, but the formula's high-stim profile and pronounced thermogenic feel make it better suited to experienced users.

Mini
Somehow I did not notice they were sized mini when I ordered these. I opened them to realize that these would not fit a full size soap bar. They fit the scraps of tiny soaps inside. There is a good amount of texture to them that will help exfoliate your skin in the shower. Overall a good set of mini soap exfoliating bags. **Thanks for reading my review & hope that this review helps make your decision easier.**

Stellar information!
Format: Paperback
I bought this book to help with gathering information for a long research paper I was writing for university but I loved this book! From the cultural anthropological history to the braided neuroscience and historical analysis in between, this has become one of my recent favorites. I've even asked for other books written by this author on my Christmas list. Very fascinating read!

Leveling the playing field
Format: Hardcover
It is a not so tightly held secret that the Republicans know how to manipulate emotions for political advantage; with this book Drew Westen levels the playing field by not only providing insight into how emotions are evoked and taken advantage of politically, but also provides evidence-driven suggestions for the Democratic party to follow. The question, of course, is will the Democrats change their electoral strategies taking Dr. Westen's suggestions to heart, or will they follow the failed tactics of the Gore and Kerry campaigns, which relied on consultants following a rational-choice model of politics that prefers watered down political positions and milquetoast candidates in hopes of taking the "center". While some may argue that this book is unethical by advocating the targeting of voters' emotions, instead of their "rational thought process", and thus is supportive of public manipulation, a very strong counter-argument might be made that putting this information in the public domain will help voters inoculate themselves against current Republican strategies which rely on scaring the public and arousing their anger against others using a range of techniques that border on the illegal. Specifically, the "RATS" subliminal advertisement used by the Bush 2000 campaign to attack Gore is, on close scrutiny, a very astute and professional advertisement that takes advantage of knowledge in the academic sphere that humans process information outside of conscious awareness. Specifically, a 1986 article in the Journal of Personality and Social Psychology by Fazio et al. provided evidence that not only did the term "RATS" have a negative effect on peoples' evaluation of items presented afterwards, but that further, the term "Reagan" had a weak positive effect. Likewise, both Westen and colleagues and Stewart and Schubert(in Harvard International Journal of Press/Politics, 2006), in separate studies, suggest that the term "RATS" is an effective subliminal. Furthermore, the use of fear/anxiety by the current administration is well established, with studies showing a correlation between changes in the Homeland Security color-coded threat indicator and political tactics. While one might argue over the timing of the Iraq invasion, and whether it was carried out for short-term political expediency, or to address a perceived threat in the region, one cannot argue with the rally effect that bolstered President Bush's ratings to over 90% immediately after 9-11 and over 70% after the Iraq invasion. Knowing that humans respond in predictable ways when different emotions are evoked allows not just politicians, consultants, academics and wonks to understand human behavior, but also will give the average citizen greater awareness of how the emotions evoked affect their decisions and responses. In other words, a more intelligent population may come from a more emotionally astute population.

A compelling counternarrative
Format: Hardcover
"The Political Brain" by Drew Westen is an important contribution to the political science literature in general and an inspiration for Democratic Party supporters in particular. Mr. Westen's knowledge of psychology and the cognitive sciences provides insight into how the individual develops a political consciousness. Showing how the Republican Party has gained advantage by developing an emotionally fear-laden narrative designed to exploit the electorate's psychic sensibilities, Mr. Westen argues that Democrats can and must develop a compelling counternarrative that appeals to the American public's better angels in order to inspire their supporters and win consistently at the polls. The first section discusses the mind, brain and emotion in politics. Mr. Westen draws upon the latest scientific research to explain how emotion is integral to the brain's cognitive function. Mr. Westen recites passages delivered by Franklin Delano Roosevelt and Bill Clinton to illustrate how political messages are most effective when they tie issues to emotionally resonant themes and images. Importantly, Mr. Westen also deconstructs the neoliberal ideology of Ronald Reagan to help us better understand the importance of evolutionary psychology and crafting popular messages with curb appeal. The second section provides a blueprint for executing emotionally compelling campaigns. Mr. Westen explores the multiple layers of voter intelligence to reveal how Republicans have successfully used subliminal messaging to activate the public's feelings of anxiety in order to get people to vote against their own material self-interests. The author stresses that when Democratics shy away from conflict, voters instinctively detect weakness; therefore he recommends that Democrats cede nothing and go after issues that many voters tend to perceive as Republican. To that end, Mr. Westen offers a series of principled narratives on contentious issues such as abortion, affirmative action, gay rights and gun control that he believes could easily help the Democrats gain majority support by activating the American voter's sense of fairness, freedom and equality of opportunity. While perhaps not fully convincing on all subjects, Mr. Westen amply demonstrates that a coherent and inspirational counternarrative is possible. Unfortunately, this otherwise excellent book succumbs to a transparent attempt at self-promotion by forcing readers to go to the author's website to read the footnotes. Boo! Yet despite this minor deficiency, I highly recommend this timely and fascinating book to everyone.
