Real pump basics with a straight-up beast-mode stim stack

Dark Labs Crack Barbarian Edition is a straight-up, fully labeled high-stim pre-workout that sticks to one simple idea: back up real workout support with a seriously stacked stim blend for guys who want that rush, better mood, sharp focus, and drive to train hard—not just a caffeine buzz. Unlike a lot of 'extreme' pre-workouts that are basically stim overloads with weak pump add-ons, this one grounds it all with solid doses like 6,000mg citrulline malate (2:1) and 3,200mg beta-alanine.

The pump and stamina start with 6g citrulline malate, a dose that's right in the sweet spot for boosting nitric oxide and workout performance. Citrulline boosts arginine levels better than taking arginine straight up since it skips a lot of breakdown in your body, leading to more nitric oxide, wider blood vessels, better flow, and oxygen to your muscles. You'll feel a fuller pump, push more reps, and avoid that flat vibe that hits when high-stims ignore blood flow. Beta-alanine at 3.2g is the standard daily amount to bump up carnosine in your muscles, which fights off acid buildup during tough sets. Right away, you might get those tingles. After 2-4 weeks of steady use, it helps hold off that deep burn that cuts sets short.

Agmatine sulfate at 1,000mg ramps up the pump even more. Agmatine helps with nitric oxide signals and blood flow in ways that pair great with citrulline, not just copy it. Alpha GPC is in at 500mg as a 50% material, giving you about 250mg real Alpha GPC—a solid nootropic dose for acetylcholine support, better mind-muscle link, and focused movements. N-Acetyl L-Tyrosine at 500mg is included

DL Crack Barbarian by Dark Labs contains 6000mg Citrulline Malate (2:1), a effective dose for training performance and pump.

Key Highlights

  • 6,000mg Citrulline Malate (2:1) — this is a legit dose that actually does something, not just for show. Citrulline ramps up arginine and nitric oxide better than straight arginine, leading to wider veins, better blood flow, and that full, lasting pump serious lifters love in a good pre-workout.
  • 3,200mg Beta-Alanine — the go-to daily amount to build muscle carnosine. That's key because carnosine fights acid buildup in high-intensity sets, helping you push through the burn in longer reps or packed workouts.
  • 1,000mg Agmatine Sulfate — a solid dose for pump help that works alongside citrulline without overlapping. Agmatine boosts nitric oxide signals and blood flow, adding more congestion and muscle fullness to your sessions.
  • 412.5mg Total Caffeine from Two Sources — 300mg anhydrous plus 225mg caffeine citrate. They use citrate for a quick kick and anhydrous for steady energy, so it ramps up faster than single-caffeine options.
  • 250mg DMHA — that's higher than the usual 150-200mg, showing this is a heavy-hitter. DMHA brings intense energy, mood lift, and pushes your pain tolerance, but real studies are slim, so know your limits.
  • 500mg Eria Jarensis Extract — a big dose for this type of thing, which is why it feels so mood-boosting and engaging. It gives that happy, driven feel way beyond basic caffeine pre-workouts.
  • 750mg Beta-Phenylethylamine — here for quick mood and drive boosts. PEA hits fast but doesn't last long, so they pair it with hordenine and naringin to stretch it out and make the whole ride better.
  • 500mg Alpha GPC (50%) — gives about 250mg actual Alpha GPC for brain support. It's enough to sharpen focus, coordination, and mind-muscle connection in a stim-packed pre-workout, even if it's not the max dose.

Who Is This For?

  • Serious bodybuilders in grind mode who need more than a heart-rate boost. The 6g citrulline malate and 1g agmatine deliver pump and fullness for volume work, while stacked stims keep intensity up from compounds to isolations.
  • Powerbuilders doing marathon sessions with heavy lifts into accessory overload. 3.2g beta-alanine helps buffer repeats, and dual caffeine plus DMHA keeps you going strong past the half-hour mark.
  • Guys comfy with 400mg+ caffeine who want more. It's not just caffeine; DMHA, eria jarensis, halostachine, hordenine, and alpha-yohimbine make it way punchier than basic stuff.
  • Lifters who dig mood lifts and laser focus as much as pumps. Beta-PEA, eria jarensis, caffeine, and Alpha GPC make sessions feel urgent, immersive, and mentally on point, not just wired.
  • Competitive types or early birds wanting a top-tier pre-hit with full disclosure. Fast citrate plus anhydrous and stims give a quick buildup for feeling it before your first real set.
  • Folks bulking or cutting who like appetite curb and max drive. The stim profile often kills hunger and amps motivation, handy when you need to crush it no matter what.

How to Use

If you're new to this or not used to heavy stims, start with half a scoop. A full one packs 412.5mg caffeine plus extras, so base it on what you can handle, not bravado. Take it 20-30 minutes pre-training; that fits the quick citrate hit while letting the full stims build. Shake one scoop in 8-12 ounces cold water for even mix—better than stirring. Empty stomach makes it hit faster and stronger; food can dull it. Don't mix with coffee, energy drinks, stim burners, or other DMHA/yohimbine stuff unless you know your body well. It teams up nice with creatine, electrolytes, and intra carbs for performance without more stims. Stim tolerance builds fast, so cycle it for tough days, not daily. Keep it sealed cool and dry to avoid clumping.

What to Expect

Minutes 0-10: it settles fast, especially without a big meal, with early stim signs popping up. Minutes 10-20: caffeine citrate starts working, beta-alanine might tingle, and you go from 'drank it' to 'feeling it.' Minutes 20-40: that's the peak ramp, where dual caffeine, DMHA, eria, PEA, and alpha-yohimbine bring the rush, focus, mood boost, and training fire. Minutes 40-90: it stays strong, with citrulline and agmatine holding blood flow while stims keep you alert and intense. Days 1-7: stim effects hit right away, but beta-alanine is just starting to load carnosine. Weeks 2-4: buffering gets better, showing in tougher reps and volume, but watch stim tolerance if you're using it a lot.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much caffeine is in Crack Barbarian Edition per scoop?

One full scoop provides 300mg caffeine anhydrous plus 225mg caffeine citrate, which yields 412.5mg total caffeine. That is before accounting for the fact that the formula also includes other stimulants like DMHA, alpha-yohimbine, halostachine, hordenine, and eria jarensis, so the perceived intensity is greater than the caffeine number alone suggests.

Is Dark Labs Crack Barbarian Edition suitable for beginners?

No. This is an advanced high-stim pre-workout built for experienced users with established tolerance to aggressive stimulant formulas. Even at one scoop, the combination of 412.5mg caffeine, 250mg DMHA, and alpha-yohimbine makes it far too intense for most beginners.

Why does this formula include both caffeine anhydrous and caffeine citrate?

Caffeine citrate is absorbed quickly and helps create a faster onset, while caffeine anhydrous provides the larger backbone of total stimulation. Using both forms is a common strategy in hard-hitting pre-workouts to create a quicker rise in energy without relying on one single caffeine source.

Will I feel beta-alanine tingles from this product?

Probably. The formula contains 3,200mg beta-alanine, which is the standard daily dose associated with paresthesia in many users. The tingling is harmless for most healthy adults and reflects acute nerve-related sensation, while the real performance benefit comes from long-term carnosine loading over repeated use.

Is the pump side of this formula actually strong, or is it mostly stimulants?

For a high-stim product, the pump support is legitimately respectable. You get 6,000mg citrulline malate and 1,000mg agmatine sulfate, which is enough to provide real blood-flow support and help offset the 'vasoconstricted' feel that can happen in heavily adrenergic formulas.

Can I stack Crack Barbarian Edition with a fat burner or energy drink?

That is generally a bad idea unless you are extremely experienced and fully aware of your tolerance. This formula already includes 412.5mg caffeine plus DMHA, alpha-yohimbine, hordenine, halostachine, and other stimulants, so adding more stimulation can increase the risk of excessive heart rate, anxiety, and poor tolerance.

Should I use a full scoop right away?

No. Start with half a scoop to assess tolerance, especially because the formula contains multiple stimulants beyond caffeine. Many users underestimate how much stronger the combined profile feels compared with a standard 300mg caffeine pre-workout.

How often should I use this pre-workout?

Most experienced users are better off reserving it for their hardest sessions rather than taking it every training day. Beta-alanine benefits from consistency, but stimulant tolerance to caffeine and the other CNS actives can climb quickly if you use a formula this aggressive too often.

What does the 500mg Alpha GPC (50%) really provide?

Because the raw material is standardized to 50%, 500mg of Alpha GPC (50%) yields about 250mg actual Alpha GPC. That is a useful dose for cholinergic support and focus, though not a maximal nootropic dose.

Does the formula use a proprietary blend?

No. Every active ingredient and dose is disclosed on the label, including the stimulants most likely to affect tolerability. That is a real advantage in a category where many hardcore pre-workouts still hide exact amounts.

Will not be disappointed
Color: Black/Blue
Keeping in mind that I received this item yesterday (2/24/16), I absolutely love this watch. The reason I have so much confidence with this watch is because I've owned one other Timex similar to this one, and it served me extremely well and is still able to do so. First off, this watch is certainly aesthetically pleasing. The blue color around the face of the watch and outline in the band, goes really well with the black frame. It's just an overall nice looking watch. More importantly, the quality seems great. As I mentioned, I've owned a Timex expedition, which I've had for more than 2 years, and it's still working perfectly fine. The watch seems like it's put together very well and there's no loose or flimsy parts. One complaint that many people seem to have with Timex is the quality of their band. Unfortunately I'd have to agree, since the band on my other Timex that's still working like the first day I got it, cracked and broke and is only being held together by the nylon fabric on the other side of the band. You're not going to have that problem with this watch. It's a full nylon band with Velcro adjustment, for precise fitting. it feels extremely comfortable and you won't need to worry about the band cracking (although I'm sure there will be certain defects in a mass produced bunch). I will use this watch for work and running, and rarely plan on taking it off. Just to give you an idea, I also have a garmin gps watch that I love and obviously has more functions than this watch. However, the second I received this watch, I slapped it on and put my garmin to the side. This watch also looks amazing when you wear it. I'll update this feedback as needed, but I'm confident this watch will serve me for years to come, just as my other one has.

Greatest watch I've ever had, but changing batteries is near impossible
Color: Black/Blue
This is the 3rd time I've bought this watch. Same brand, same or very similar model. It has a chronometer, timer, alarm, and of course the clock. It has something I think is for "occasions" but I don't know what it does and don't really care about it. The watch is durable. It uses battery power efficiently. The indiglo is second to none. I just really really like this watch. Having said all that, if you want to change the batteries, good luck, you'll need it. Once you manage to get the backing off of it and open it up (which is a little tricky in itself), it's like a comedy routine where you see some stooge open an electrical device and a buncha parts and springs go flying everywhere. And of course, they are so tiny, you'll never find them once they fly out. That was the exact scenario I found myself in the last time I tried to change the battery. It made me so mad I actually bought another brand of watch that I thoroughly researched. But that watch DIDN'T use battery power efficiently, and it had a host of other minor problems that added up to the conclusion that it was not nearly as great as this Timex. So, for the 3rd time, I found myself buying this Timex watch. So it's a wonderful watch in every way except longevity because changing the batteries has historically been a nightmare for me.

A better Ironman design
Color: Black/Blue
I've been a fan of Timex watches for most of my life, paying about $30 for one in the 1960s, and that hasn't changed at all in 2010 because I'm still paying about $30 for my Timex watches. It is a rare case indeed when the quality of a product continually improves over several decades while the price remains the same. And as John Cameron Swayze would say in those live ads during the early years of TV, "Timex takes a lickin and keeps on tickin". The MEGA deserves a good review after I have been using it for a while. You might also see it advertized as the "Oversize" because most distinctive about this design is its size, so tagging it with the name MEGA is entirely justified. It is massive in comparison to most of the other Ironman series of watches, and what seemed at first to be just another unnecessary Ironman 30 Lap design has turned out to be one of my favorites for all-around wearing. This new design keeps the clockworks of the standard size 30 Lap Ironman watches, it counts up and down, programs the same, has several alarms, and of course, it has the Indigo night light that works so well. This is one of five different versions of the Mega available in the USA, and the only one with a Fastwrap Velcro wristband with blue striping and a matching blue bezel. Velcro wristbands are a favorite among many athletes and when it wears out, it can be replaced with either an identical factory band or one that is made of urethane rubber. Overall, the Mega is a good choice for runners in need of a new 30 lap Ironman who can appreciate having a watch that is distinctively larger and what I would consider to be much better in appearances over the others of standard or mid size Ironman dimensions.
