For those that have added an aftermarket fuel filtration system, or a lift pump with an integrated filtration system, such as FASS, you no longer even NEED to have this troublesome filter on the truck any longer. FASS now allows you to eliminate this by installing their Duramax Filter Delete in place of the stock fuel filter. As an added bonus, this comes pre-equipped with a gauge port for those that wish to monitor fuel pressure.
