ARRMA developed the 223S series especially for brushless bashing newcomers who want to grow from 2S to 3S power without adding expensive upgrades or buying a whole new vehicle. On a 2S LiPo the TYPHON 223S BLX reaches 35+ mph top speeds, matching or beating the best that other manufacturers’ 2S bashers can do. Whenever you’re ready, plug in a 3S battery. Now you can unleash the buggy’s full 50+ mph potential!
You control how fast your TYPHON 223S BLX can go by your choice of battery and where you set the throttle limiter on its included Spektrum SLT3 transmitter. With throttle limiting, the SLT3 automatically limits top speed to a level you prefer until you’re ready for it all. Set the throttle limiting switch to 50% or 75% and you’ll never have to worry about moving faster than you can safely manage. Make the transition from 2S to 3S speeds with absolute confidence.
The Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) built into the buggy’s Spektrum electronics offers another big advantage. With four selectable modes, DSC will automatically correct steering input as needed to improve your control, confidence, and safety, whether you’re bashing on high-grip or low-grip surfaces. As you gain experience, just turn off the DSC and use the skills you’ve mastered.
The TYPHON 223S BLX is ready to give new and experienced brushless RC drivers amped-up performance right out of the box. Precision aluminum, tough steel and composite materials come together for an easy-to-maintain, super-durable buggy design whose high downforce wing and low center of gravity, with wide arms and narrow wheels and tires, improve handling over race tracks, trails, muddy courses, skate parks, and more. Off-road on dirt, gravel, or short grass is where the TYPHON 223S BLX performs best, but it’s also very capable as a speed run machine on pavement with street tires.
All-metal diff outdrives and gearbox internals, plus durable composite slider driveshafts, contribute to a reliable, heavy-duty 4X4 drivetrain that holds up to extreme brushless bashing. The all-terrain suspension package and adjustable, oil-filled shocks mounted on composite shock towers soak up the bumps as the TYPHON 223S BLX blasts over dirt, asphalt and grass.

The included SLT3 radio can automatically limit top speed to a comfortable level until you’re ready to unleash it all.

ADJUSTABLE SUSPENSION
The all-terrain independent suspension and oil-filled, coilover shocks soak up bumps. If your bashing takes you over uneven surfaces, you can adjust the ride height to increase ground clearance.
