Now you can take that cozy, snuggly feeling with you wherever you go with these adorable quilted pants. Warm, stylish, and ready to party — what’s not to love?

Skills Covered:

• Working with thick/heavy fabrics
• Elastic waist with waistband facing
• Sew binding onto patch pockets
• Inseam pockets (straight leg view)
• Attach cuffs (balloon leg)
• Sew darts (balloon leg)

Fabric Recommendations:

Heavy weight fabrics - approximately 1/4" thick ((9-15 oz per yd² or 300-500 GSM): blankets, thrifted quilts, quilted cotton, towels etc. The Warm Winter quilted cottons work perfectly.

Kristy's balloon leg version features Warm Winter in Raspberry Jam with Cool Primary bias tape from Balkello Fabrics. Kristy's straight leg version features Warm Winter in Wheatgrass. 

Katy of @cortadh0e (IG) is wearing a size 4 with 1" removed from the rise (short torso). Katy's balloon version is quilted double gauze from Joann's. Katy's straight leg version uses a quilted leopard fabric (source unknown).
