A stunning dark roasted maple neck with rosewood fretboard offers smooth playability and delicious response. Finally, a pair of Reverend custom humbuckers kicks out huge 'bucker tone that is balanced and versatile.

Versatile humbuckers deliver huge tone

As the lead guitarist and co-founder of the indie rock duo Wye Oak and leader of her solo project Flock of Dimes, Jenn Wasner is known for her creative approach to guitar. A fan of open tunings and heavy effects, Jenn ordered a pair of custom Reverend humbuckers in the bridge and the neck to accommodate her sonic style. The HA5 neck humbucker is a PAF-style pickup with a big, warm, open tone that is lighter on the mids and beautifully defined and clear. The HA5 bridge is a classic-style humbucker tone with a slightly hotter wind for a little more drive and kick — crank up the gain on this humbucker and it doesn't muddy or lose clarity. We appreciate the included treble bleed circuit that keeps the treble front and center, even when you roll back the volume. Reverend proprietary volume and tone control knobs also feature a lower profile, so you don't have to worry about accidental contact when you are in the moment and really digging in!

The Reverend Jenn Wasner Signature features truly unique artwork on its korina body. Reverend partnered with Baltimore textile artist April Camlin, who has designed Jenn's stage wear, to create a truly captivating, original graphic. Dubbed “Optic Interruption," this mesmerizing design is both bold and balanced — it's sure to invite endless gazing and discussion among those who orbit your performance on the stage and off. The black-and-white artwork juxtaposes beautifully with the dark roasted maple neck and the rosewood fingerboard as well. Plus, the chrome switch plate, the stoptail piece bridge, and the chrome pickup covers lend even more stage-ready presentation to this incredible instrument.
