artist biography
Hasse Eriksson, born in 1915 in Gothenburg, was a Swedish artist.
Eriksson studied art under noted French artist André Lhote (1885-1962) in Paris. He had solo exhibitions in Stockholm, Gothenburg and Malmö and participated in group exhibitions in Gothenburg, Copenhagen, Odense and Reykjavik.
Eriksson is represented at the Gothenburg Art Museum, the City of Helsinki, the Swedish State's collections, as well as in a number of municipalities and county councils around Scandinavia.
He passed away in 1999 aged 84.
