The Address Book, a key and controversial work in Sophie Calle's oeuvre, lies at the epicenter of many layers of reality and fiction. Having found a lost address book on the street in Paris, Calle copied the pages before returning it anonymously to its owner. She then embarked on a search to come to know this stranger by contacting listed individuals--in essence, following him through the map of his acquaintances. Originally published as a serial in the newspaper Lib ration over the course of one month, her incisive written accounts with friends, family and colleagues, juxtaposed with photographs, yield vivid subjective impressions of the address book's owner, Pierre D., while also suggesting ever more complicated stories as information is parsed and withheld by the people she encounters. Collaged through a multitude of details--from the banal to the luminous, this fragile and strangely intimate portrait of Pierre D. is a prism through which to see the desire for, and the elusivity of, knowledge. Upon learning of this work and its publication in the newspaper, Pierre D. expressed his anger, and Calle agreed not to republish the work until after his death. Until then, The Address Book had only been described in English--as the work of the character Maria Turner, whom Paul Auster based on Calle in his novel Leviathan; and in Double Game, Calle's monograph which converses with Auster's novel. This is the first trade publication in English of The Address Book (Gemini G.E.L. in Los Angeles released a suite of lithographs modeled on the original tabloid pages from Lib ration in an edition of 24). The book has the physical weight and feel of an actual address book with a new design of text and images which allow the story to unfold and be savored by the reader.Binding Type: Hardcover

Charger portion stopped working twice now
Works well until it doesn't. Was excited to get the phone mount off the car vent but I have gone through one replacement already and now I'm past the point to completely return it. Twice now the charging portion has failed. The first one stopped lighting up completely with in about a week and now this one just constantly flashes and no longer charges after another few weeks. I have tried different cords and outlets in my car with no success. The magnet portion however is strong and does hold the phone well.

Perfect for every day use
The Wincar Magnetic Wireless Phone Mount and Charger is a thoughtfully designed accessory tailored for Toyota 4Runner models from 2010 to the present, and it also fits well with other vehicles using a 17mm ball mount base. The package includes a sturdy mount, a 15W magnetic wireless charger, a charging cable, and two steel rings. These steel rings are particularly useful for those who do not own a MagSafe-compatible phone or case, ensuring broader compatibility.
I specifically purchased this charger and holder to use with my existing 17mm ball mount base, which I found challenging to match with most other products—especially for my Lexus GX460. While there are many phone holders on the market, very few offer the dual functionality of both MagSafe mounting and wireless charging in one unit. This all-in-one solution eliminates the need for multiple accessories, but it’s important to note that the charger /mount
require a power connection to operate.
In terms of performance, the Wincar mount and charger deliver impressively. When connected to a reliable USB-C charging source or a USB-C cigarette lighter adapter, the magnetic grip is strong, keeping the phone securely in place even during bumpy rides. The wireless charging is efficient, providing a reasonably fast charge without overheating or lag. The magnetic force is particularly robust, ensuring that the phone remains stable and aligned for optimal charging.
Overall, this mount and charger combination offers a seamless, convenient experience for anyone seeking a reliable phone holder and charger for their vehicle. For my needs, it has proven to be both practical and effective.

A Solid Mount with Minor Imperfections
This MagSafe mount is a fantastic addition to my 2024 4Runner, offering a nearly factory-fit look. Installation was straightforward, though it required a bit of nerve. I was worried the clips attaching to the AC vent would snap, but with firm, steady pressure, they clicked securely into place without any issue. The result is a very stable platform for my phone.
Functionally, it performs exactly as hoped. It supports fast charging when paired with a capable cigarette port adapter, and the magnetic connection is surprisingly strong. It holds my heavy S25 Ultra securely during daily commutes, and the inclusion of two metal rings for non-MagSafe cases is a thoughtful touch. I haven't tested its limits on a bumpy off-road trail, but for normal driving, it’s perfect.
My only two critiques are minor but worth noting. With the phone in place, it completely blocks the hazard light button. A slight inconvenience. Additionally, I wish the mount's color matched the silver trim around the infotainment system for a more seamless look. Despite these small flaws, it's an excellent, clean mounting solution that I would recommend to other 4Runner owners.

Five Stars — Finally Got My Charger Back!
Color: Black, Color: Black
I bought this 3-in-1 wireless charging station as a gift for my girlfriend so she would finally stop stealing mine — and let me tell you, it worked. She loves it, her devices love it, and I love not having to play “Where’s my charger?” every night like it’s some kind of relationship scavenger hunt.
Pros:
• MagSafe is strong — Her phone snaps on like it’s reconnecting with its soulmate.
• Charges iPhone, Apple Watch, and AirPods all at once — AKA: no more tangled octopus of cables on the nightstand.
• Looks clean and modern — Her side of the room instantly leveled up in aesthetics.
• Fast charging — She swears her phone charges “faster than her attitude in the morning,” her words not mine.
Cons:
• Now she judges my setup — Apparently I’m the one with the “messy” charger now.
• Might make you buy a second one — Because the moment you try to use hers, she suddenly remembers boundaries.
Overall, great gift, works perfectly, and saved my sanity. Would 100% buy again — but I don’t have to, because she finally stopped borrowing mine!
