Unbreakable Connectivity
Communication is critical for a reliable security system. The Hub 2 features three independent communication channels to guarantee your system is always online. It can be connected to the internet via an Ethernet cable and simultaneously uses two 4G SIM cards (supporting 2G, 3G, and LTE) as backups. The system automatically switches between channels in seconds, ensuring alarms and photos are delivered without fail, even if one connection is lost.
Advanced Wireless Technology
At the core of the Hub 2 are two proprietary radio protocols: Jeweller and Wings. Jeweller provides secure, two-way encrypted communication with all your Ajax devices at a range of up to 2,000 meters in open space. It constantly monitors the health of each detector while protecting against signal jamming and forgery. The Wings protocol is dedicated to the rapid and reliable transmission of visual data from MotionCam detectors, ensuring you receive photo verifications quickly even on a weak internet connection.
Robust and Scalable Protection
The AJAX Hub 2 is built to be the foundation of a powerful and flexible security network. It can manage up to 100 wireless devices, including detectors, sirens, and automation relays. You can add up to 50 users, create 9 distinct security groups, and integrate up to 25 IP cameras or DVRs for comprehensive video surveillance. With a built-in backup battery that lasts up to 16 hours, your property remains protected even during a power outage.
