The Fury II provides a durable and versatile basketball experience for recreation centers, schools, and homes where a permanent installation isn't an option. Built on a heavy-gauge steel frame, this portable system is designed for institutional use but is simple enough for anyone to operate. The core of its flexibility is the rear-mounted crank, which allows for precise rim height adjustments anywhere from the regulation 10 feet down to 6 feet 6 inches for younger players. This direct-drive mechanism offers superior rigidity and eliminates the wobble found in common spring-assisted systems, ensuring a stable goal at any height.
This package is equipped with a 36" x 48" acrylic backboard that delivers a consistent rebound for bank shots and layups. Player safety is addressed with a direct-mount FT184 Recreational Flex Goal, which attaches through the backboard directly to the main arm. This design absorbs the stress from aggressive play, protecting the backboard from damage. The base unit requires 540 pounds of customer-supplied ballast for unshakable stability and includes thick vinyl safety padding on the front to protect players. One person can easily tilt and roll the Fury II into position, making setup and storage straightforward.
