The Blue Base Bettas are any Bettas that has a predominantly Blue base. They range from a full blue colour through to reds with specks of yellow or red or other colours.

These fish was popular back in 2002 where they were first introduced into the hobby.
They remained a staple in Nano Tanks Australia and it is such a nice variation of a betta overall.
We do suggest you keep these wonderful creatures in a planted aquascape tank.
