Both Ringneck and Golden Pheasant tails have a sturdy, somewhat stiff quill, and are approximately 0.75-1" inch wide through the body of the feather, but becomes more narrow and pointed at the top. The process of bleached-dyed pheasant results in bright solid colors with the natural markings barely visible. These feathers come packaged per color but can also be purchased in assorted color mixes. Also available in smaller qunatites (10 piece packages) in our Packaged Feathers category. LOVE THIS PRODUCT, would’ve gotten 5 stars but i threw it for my dog and it split in half on contact with the floor. It had lasted us well over 5 months, it’s not his favorite toy but he’ll pick it sometimes, i wouldn’t say it’s unsafe in half just don’t give the smaller parts!
