Besonderheiten: Der Edradour 2013/2026 ist ein 12 Jahre alter Whisky aus Schottland, gereift in 1st Fill Burgundy Hogsheads. Diese Abfüllung stammt aus der Edradour Distillery, die für ihre traditionellen Produktionsmethoden bekannt ist. Die Kombination von dunklen Beeren und würzigen Noten wird durch die unkonventionelle Reifung hervorgehoben. Edradour, die kleinste traditionelle Brennerei Schottlands, bringt mit dieser Abfüllung ein charaktervolles Erlebnis hervor.

Tasting Notes:

  • Nase: In der Nase entfalten sich Aromen von dunklen Beeren, Kirschen, Malz, Zimt, Nüssen und Eichenwürze.
  • Gaumen: Am Gaumen präsentiert er sich mit Johannisbeeren, Datteln, würziger Eiche, Zimt und Cashew.
  • Abgang: Der Abgang ist lang, malzig, nussig und wird von dunklen Beeren geprägt.

Destillerie/Abfüller: Die Edradour Distillery wurde 1825 gegründet und ist bekannt für ihre handwerklichen Verfahren zur Herstellung von Whisky. Hier werden traditionelle Methoden eingesetzt, darunter die Nutzung der kleinsten zulässigen Kupferbrennblasen. Der Whisky wird in hochwertigen Holzfermentationsbehältern hergestellt, was zur Charaktertiefe beiträgt. Diese spezielle Abfüllung, die als Small Batch klassifiziert ist, wurde 2013 destilliert und 2026 abgefüllt.

Assembled chair only to find that the lift cylinder was faulty. Would have preferred to be able to just get a replacement cylinder but calling China didn't seem like a viable option. Guessing which one & buying it online would involve paying for a good portion of what the chair cost. Customer service could only offer a replacement or refund. We're disassembling (so much fun?!) to send it back. The chair itself was very comfortable, assembled fairly easily and instructions pretty clear. Again, if we could only have asked the seller for the replacement part......**Update**...Or if the instructions that seemed so clear were clearer!, as we started to disassemble, we decided to see what would happen if the tension knob (see photo) was loosened. IT ALLOWED THE LIFT CYLINDER TO WORK. Not at all what the instructions say. At any rate, we're keeping the chair.
