Metroid Prime 4: Beyond ist ein First-Person-Action-Adventure von Retro Studios. Die Spieler schlüpfen in die Rolle der Kopfgeldjägerin Samus Aran, die nach einem Angriff auf eine Forschungsstation auf dem fremden Planeten Viewros strandet. Dort muss sie ihre Umgebung manipulieren, Rätsel lösen und gegen feindliche Kreaturen kämpfen, um einen Ausweg zu finden.
Die Handlung
Die Story setzt chronologisch nach den Ereignissen von Super Metroid ein. Nachdem Kopfgeldjäger Sylux eine Forschungsstation der Galaktischen Föderation angreift, wird Samus Aran bei der Verteidigung in einen Unfall verwickelt. Sie erwacht isoliert auf dem geheimnisvollen Planeten Viewros. Dort wird sie von den Einheimischen, den Lamorn, mit einer Mission beauftragt, während sie gleichzeitig gegen ihren alten Widersacher Sylux vorgehen muss. Vorkenntnisse aus der früheren Trilogie sind nicht zwingend erforderlich.
Gameplay und Features
- Perspektive und Kampf: Das Spiel bleibt der klassischen First-Person-Formel treu und bietet actiongeladene Gefechte. Dank eines Lock-on-Systems kannst du Gegner anvisieren, während das Zielen auf Schwachstellen oft manuelles Geschick erfordert.
- Erkundung und Psi-Fähigkeiten: Neben dem Erkunden klassischer Biome setzt Samus neue psychische Fähigkeiten (Psy-Fähigkeiten) ein, um die Umgebung zu manipulieren und Mechanismen zu bedienen.
- Rätsel und Leveldesign: Erkundung, Kämpfe und das Scannen der Umgebung gehen Hand in Hand. Das Leveldesign bietet verschiedene optionale Abzweigungen und ein gut durchdachtes Backtracking-System.
- Optionen: Das Spiel bietet drei verschiedene Schwierigkeitsgrade (Casual, Normal und einen freischaltbaren höheren Modus) für unterschiedliche Spielertypen.
Versionen und Steuerung
- Nintendo Switch: Das Spiel ist für die Nintendo Switch erhältlich.
- Nintendo Switch 2 Edition: Für die Nachfolgekonsole bietet das Spiel verbesserte Grafik (bis zu 4K bei 60 FPS in HDR) und die Möglichkeit, wahlweise mit Tasten oder einer optionalen Maussteuerung zu spielen.

Perfect size, cute illustrations and words

My toddler girl is super into bugs right now. This book was suggested alongside a bunch of other bug books I purchased (Maisy’s Nature Walk, Bugs, All Because a Little Bug Went Kachoo, The Lonely Firefly, A Good Place). What a great find!
It’s the perfect board book size for me to hold or for my toddler to hold. The illustrations are darling and the words simple enough that my almost 2 year old has pages memorized. When she sees a picture she’ll spout out the words. I appreciate the back page with the illustration of all bugs with their names because lord knows my toddler asks me time and time again “what’s that?!” and mommy is fresh out of lies. My insect knowledge is clearly not as profound as my daughter.

This book is like crack to my 16 month old
Format: Board book
I bought this book as a gift for my friend's son, but when it arrived, my daughter saw it and wanted me to read it to her, so I did. Then again. Then again. Needless to say, I had to buy a second copy to send to my friend's son. It's been about a week, and my daughter is OBSESSED. There have been tantrums when we need to stop reading Some Bugs to do something else. It's by far her favorite book. The illustrations are so colorful and layered, there are so many things to look at. She loves pointing at the different bugs (her favorite ones are the hawk moth and the dog tick). The text has a great rhythm and is fun to read, I'm not tired of it yet after our hundredth reading. I highly recommend this gorgeous, fun book.

Perfect for learning about bugs!

Purchased this because my kids class is learning about bugs. It is so cute, and both my kids my 3 year old and almost 2 year old love it! The pictures are so cute, and they really do go through each bug, making it educational. Such a fun book at a great price for 1-3 year olds.

Humor and Heart

Soccer superstar Sage needs a serious girlfriend to boost her image. Willa needs a plus one for her ex’s bachelorette party. When the two former high school classmates reconnect, they devise a plan to enter a fake relationship, but how long can it stay pretend?
Never Mine has a fun and heartwarming fake romance plot, likable characters, and many laugh out loud scenes. Willa and Sage’s relationship is destined to be something special from the moment they reconnect at their high school reunion, but watching them finally figure that out for themselves is entertaining and delightful.
Fans of great sapphic fauxmance with plenty of humor and heart will love Never Mine.
